You don’t need to know how to pose or have every detail figured out. We’ll guide you through it.

    Tell us your plans

    Share your date, location, and what you’re celebrating. We’ll reply with availability and next steps.

  2. 02

    Reserve your date

    Once we’ve confirmed availability and your package, a $50 retainer reserves a portrait session; a 30% retainer reserves wedding coverage and is nonrefundable if you cancel. Wedding balances are due 60 calendar days before the wedding. We’ll review your agreement and exact deadlines before you commit.

    Enjoy your session

    We’ll plan the location and timing together, then offer gentle direction so you can relax and be yourselves.

  4. 04

    Receive your memories

    Your edited online photo gallery arrives within 3 weeks for portraits or 8 weeks for weddings. Highlight films arrive within 12 weeks; full-day films within 16 weeks.

Hi, we’re
Chandler & Tana.

We met working as media specialists and quickly became inseparable. With backgrounds in photography, film, audio, and storytelling, starting Ash Photo & Film Co. felt like the natural next chapter.

Sessions with us leave room for laughter, movement, and the little moments in between. You don’t have to know how to pose—we’ll offer gentle direction and give you space to feel like yourselves.

Everything should feel clear before you book. These are the details most people want answered first.

What kinds of sessions do you photograph?

We photograph weddings, couples, bridals, missionary photos, prom, branding, graduation, maternity, families, newborns, and other meaningful occasions throughout Utah County.

How do we reserve our date?

A $50 retainer reserves a portrait-session date. A 30% retainer reserves wedding photography, wedding film, or combined photo-and-film coverage. It is credited toward your total and is nonrefundable if you cancel.

When is our wedding balance due?

Full payment is required no later than 60 calendar days before the wedding date. There are no late fees or grace periods. If the full balance has not been received by that deadline, the booking will be canceled and Ash Photo & Film Co. will not provide wedding photography or videography coverage, subject to the signed agreement and applicable law. The retainer remains nonrefundable; any other refund is governed by the signed cancellation and refund terms. The payment deadline (60 calendar days before the wedding) and the cancellation cutoff (two calendar months before the wedding) are separate dates and may differ. Your signed agreement lists the dates and terms that apply to your booking.

What is your wedding cancellation and refund policy?

If you cancel before the cutoff two calendar months before your wedding, payments other than the retainer are refundable. At or after that cutoff, payments already made are nonrefundable. Your signed agreement will state the exact cutoff date and applicable time zone. Send cancellation notices by email to ashphotofilmco@gmail.com. Provider cancellations and any refunds required by law are handled under your agreement and applicable law.

Where do sessions take place?

We work on location and do not operate a physical studio. Sessions take place at your wedding venue, an outdoor setting, or another location we agree on together.

When will we receive everything?

Portrait galleries are delivered within 3 weeks. Wedding photography galleries are delivered within 8 weeks. Wedding highlight films are delivered within 12 weeks, and full-day wedding films within 16 weeks.

Is travel included?

Travel within Utah County is included. For locations outside Utah County, contact us for a custom travel quote.

How are photographs and films delivered?

Photographs are delivered as a curated, edited high-resolution online gallery. Wedding films are delivered digitally for easy viewing and downloading.

Can you create a custom plan?

Yes. If the listed hours or coverage do not fit your plans, we can create a straightforward custom quote around your day.

Booking availability: We do not book any services on Sundays. Photography is available Monday through Saturday, subject to date availability. For new bookings from April 1, 2027 onward, film coverage is available on Saturdays only, including combined photo-and-film coverage and product video. Existing confirmed bookings follow their signed agreements.
